bio

Hannah served as the first openly disabled and consecutive female President of the Union of Jewish Students (UJS) in 2015-16. Her political activism began with campaigning against anti-Israel initiatives such as BDS and Israeli Apartheid Week. Hannah also founded the UJS Disabled Students’ Network, developing national programming to enhance accessibility and inclusion education in student Jewish communities. Today she is proud to be visible and vocal as a deaf Jewish woman, and to be part of diversifying the leadership of the Anglo-Jewish community.

At all times she loves peanut butter, making her own gnocchi, smashing the patriarchy and watching too much Netflix.
